The Tech Museum, located at 201 S Market Street, is one of the top museums of science and technology across the nation. Located in The Heart of Silicon Valley, in San Jose, The Tech covers about 132,000 square feet. The tech museum is situated in Downtown San Jose and was established on October 31, 1998. It has three floors, each having a significant purpose. At the ground floor, there is a gift shop and a café, Imax theatre, and a recreational area for special events. The upper floor has major theme galleries.
This museum is one that inspires all kind of innovation, striving to highlight the history of innovation and celebrate technology and its contributions to mankind. The Tech Museum presents a fun and breath-taking experiences with certain programs and exhibitions conducted within The Museum. You will get to see the largest dome screen in the West, which is about 8 stories high, you can get involved in an interactive exhibition where you can design and build a social robot, you can also see laser cutters and just about anything you can imagine in the world of innovative science.
The price for admission into the Tech Museum is $24 for adults, $19 for students with valid ID and adults above 65 and admission for children remains free.
